Starting an Exchange Program is an experience often filled with both excitement and a sheer amount of stress. Most of the time you are faced with a different language and culture than the ones you are used to.
A Buddy Program is an onboarding technique meant to facilitate your integration through a less formal approach. A Buddy Program -as the name implies- uses “buddies” to help you get going at your new school within the first weeks or months. The goal of a Buddy Program is to get the most out of both your buddy and you. It encourages both parties to continuously share their experiences, knowledge, and best practices. It makes it easier to get to know the local culture, practice the language and meet the local students.
In the Buddy Program will you not only find a Buddy to help you and to share new experiences in this new city, but also and above all a friend for life!
