International BusIT Week: 21/02/2022 - 25/02/2022

After a briefing from the Association Faune et Biotopes and from Lora IoT Network Provider Proximus Enco, students working in international teams will develop technical and relational skills in an international environment. Social and cultural activities are organized to get to know better other participants. Students’ electronic and coding skills, cooperation and creativity will be challenged to define and realise the appropriate solution, answering the client’s needs and helping him with some aspects of its work.

For instance, the solution might either be monitoring some environmental parameters to prevent problems on some cultivations, or tracking some wild animal species to increase knowledge on their habitats and in this way, protect biodiversity.  A few examples are:

  • Monitoring a vineyard, making sure the situation remains good (temperature, humidity, ...)
  • Tracking wild animals & helping non-profit organizations know their position (gps)
  • Following visitors for an ecological adventure park (gps)
